Visi Mesianik dalam Kitab Torah: Telaah Teologis, Historis dan Kultural atas Torah
Abstract
This study explores the Messianic vision in the Torah to uncover the progressive revelation of God’s redemptive plan. Often seen merely as law and history, the Torah actually forms the theological foundation of Messianic hope. Using a literature and textual-comparative approach, this research identifies key redemptive themes from Genesis to Deuteronomy. The study finds that the Torah presents an early framework of biblical Christology through the promise of redemption, sacrificial symbols, and prophetic expectation. Its novelty lies in offering an integrative, Christocentric reading of the Torah that unites law, prophecy, and salvation history.
Abstrak
Penelitian ini menelaah visi Mesianik dalam Kitab Taurat untuk mengungkap pola progresif pewahyuan Allah tentang rencana keselamatan. Taurat selama ini sering dipahami hanya sebagai kitab hukum dan sejarah, sehingga makna teologisnya sebagai dasar teologi Mesianik kurang tergali. Dengan pendekatan studi literatur dan analisis tekstual-komparatif, penelitian ini menelusuri tema, janji dan simbol penyelamatan dari Kejadian hingga Ulangan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa Taurat membentuk kerangka awal Kristologi biblika melalui janji keturunan penakluk dosa (Kejadian 3:15), tipologi pengorbanan dan nubuat pemimpin ilahi. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada pendekatan integratif yang menafsirkan Taurat secara teologis, historis dan kultural dalam menafsirkan figur Mesias secara progresif dan holistik.
